On a whim a couple weeks ago I searched for a tutorial to make some reusable baby doll diapers for Charley. Not for her to wear, of course, but for her to use on her dolls. She would lay her babies and stuffed animals down on a blanket for their diaper changes, but sadly there weren’t any diapers for them to wear. Well except for real ones, but that could get expensive really fast.
Thankfully, I came across THIS tutorial that was super easy to follow. It even came with a printable pattern which made my life even easier. When it comes to a sewing project, I need easy.
I gathered four patterned fabric scraps from my stash and one larger piece of white fabric for the insides. I love that three of the patterned fabrics are actually left over from Charley’s first year monthly photos. (I also used her monthly photo fabric to make fabric bunting that you can see HERE and HERE.)
If you’re in need of some baby doll diapers as much as Charley was and you want a full on tutorial, definitely hop over to One Little Project for all the details.
So far the diapers are holding up well. A couple of them even survived the washing machine and dryer after a little stomach virus incident…Pin It
