Bits of New York City

I'm back!  I spent last week in the city that never sleeps for professional development at the Teacher's College Writing Project Institute at Columbia University.  I left feeling super energized for next school year and look forward to implementing some new ideas into my classroom.  We (two of my colleagues and I) tried to use every spare second to explore the city and give our brains a break.  Every where I go I look for inspiration for my life, whether it be home decor, fashion, teaching, parenting, you name it, and New York didn't disappoint at all.  If you follow me on Instagram, most of these pics will look familiar to you, but if not, enjoy the little snippets of my trip to NYC.

My first stop each morning for delicious coffee and incredible atmosphere

Marble counter tops, I love marble counter tops

Tom's Restaurant-unfortunately we didn't see Seinfeld while we were there

I have tons of library/dining room projects to share with you as soon as I get back into the swing of things.  What have you all been up to?  Any fun projects?  Traveling?
